Commuters this evening faced hours of misery after two people were killed by a train at Ealing Broadway station. Passengers said a train on its way to Paddington had hit the pair as it travelled through the west London station during rush hour. The tragedy unfolded just after 6pm. All First Great Western trains from Paddington have been cancelled while the emergency services deal with the incident. Central line Tubes are not stopping at Ealing Broadway but the District line is unaffected.
