Cyclists are set to stage a rush hour protest at the notorious City junction where a young woman was killed by a tipper truck. Oxford graduate Ying Tao, 26, died at the scene of the crash at Bank on Monday morning. The recently married management consultant was the eighth cyclist to be killed in the capital this year, and the seventh to have died after a collision with an HGV. The London Cycling Campaign will hold a protest at the junction from 8.30am on Wednesday. Protesters are riding to the Bank of England together from two locations; the south side of Finsbury Circus at 8am, and the west side of the northern end of London Bridge at the same time.
